Number 2. And who that can be? Right, that’s the Swedes again! Peter Tägtgren and his industrial metal project PAIN.
Many Andrew’s memories are connected with 'Nothing Remains the Same', 2002. He is grateful just to 'PAIN & Pete' for who he is now. Thanks to HYPOCRISY’s albums 'Abducted' (1996) and 'The Final Chapter' (1997) our interviewee has got acquainted with Swedish Death Metal, nowadays known as Melodic Death Metal. 'And I’ve wildly fallen in love with this style for everything that I needed.. I who was a 13-year-old teenager and who started to cognize the world of metal: fruitiness, aggressiveness, drive, heartbeat drums', - Andrew recollects.

But exactly PAIN came to his life a bit later, in 2002. There have been some curious things: 'One day I went outside and there was a couple of neds in the entrance to the house between floors. They were trying to put 'Shut your Mouth' in the phone using their keyboards. Back then there were synthesizers emulators in the phones, and one could make monophonic melody as a ringtone. Well, going down the stairs I heard them putting some wrong notes in and my soul gave under that dissonance I heard. So I returned and put it in the right way. Afterwards we shook hands a long while. I don’t even know where they are now but the story has remained.' That’s the power of music - even the neds weren’t left indifferent to the metal.

14. Give It Up (Бонус-трек) — 3:56

And finally the head of our MetalHead’s list: 'There is a song on the album and it’s 'Don't Stop Me Now'. When we get together, my friends like the way I imitate Freddy. I sing a little bit along this song and playing an imaginary piano in a bizarre way, - Andrew smiles. – And literally today I’d been listening to this album on my way to work so I decided to put it first. And my friends would be pleased.' Queen with its album 'Jazz', 1978, gets the place of honour numbered 1!
